Delving into my Past

Good morning fellow bloggers!

How are we all feeling? I’m particularly bright today…not a clue why, I just am…

So the other day my mum and I were watching this program called ‘Cooks to Market’. Now if you have an entrepreneurial streak in you and/or love cooking (or eating) then you’ll probably like it, check it out on demand. It’s about giving small/local business’ a chance to bring their ideas to a bigger market such as supermarkets like Tesco or Waitrose. There’s two teams, each have produced, tested and sometimes been selling their products for a while. They’re given £250 to produce said product and packaging to sell on a London market stall. Whoever makes the most profit wins and gets the chance to present in front of a panel of investors.

Why am I talking about this randomly?

When I was around 15/16 (5 years ago now) I started my own little project/business based around the confectionery market. I won’t say what it was in case anyone who knows me is reading this. Anyway I offered a range of things and I sold my products to local shops. However, when I started my GCSE’s I had to give it up so I could focus on my exams.

As soon as I started watching that program I was inspired to delve back into my past and bring my idea back to life with an modern touch. So working with my mum we have decided to do some testing and get the ball rolling. I always look for my next new idea. Even though it isn’t a completely fresh idea, I am working on, improving and adding new elements to ensure it’ll be the best it can be.

I can’t tell you how excited I am, I love the process of branding, product testing, market research etc. With a few other ventures I’m currently working on I’ve well and truly filled my boots to the brim. I’ll be giving subtle updates on my progress so you can potentially do the same.

Moral: You can find inspiration anywhere, you just have to open your mind to the possibilities.
