Facing Reality…it’s Never Too Late

Good morning fellow bloggers!

I’m back in my office seat today ready to not move for the next 8.5 hours (nothing else I’d rather do).

Are you in desperate need for a change, but feel stuck ?

If you believe you were destined for greater things and are crying out for a change then why don’t you go out there and do it? It’s scary right? Sometimes we need to get the back end of our hammer and lift out those nails that are holding us down tightly to the ground. There is absolutely NO reason that you shouldn’t have what you really want in life.

The reason I say this is because I feel somewhat lucky that I am in a position where I can choose, guide and plan my future so I don’t end up feeling like I’m stuck in a dark hole and can’t climb out. As you get older your elders start to share more with you because you have a better understanding of these things. I have found that most of what I get told now-a-days is how bored, stressed and fed up everyone is in their jobs, lives etc. I’m determined to never have to say these words when I reach my goals.

Do you think you’re too far into life to change something so drastic?

Obviously I don’t have the most life experience in the world, being 21 and all, but I genuinely believe that there is no set age for when you can start to turn your life around.

Say you’re a 50 year old guy, single, in a job you hate and enjoy the company of your 3 cats in a standard bedsit. For some this is ideal and I commend you, but if this sounds like a nightmare then there is NOTHING and NO ONE who can stop you from going for gold. Get on those internet dating sites (maybe go to the gym first if you need to), start looking for jobs who want to help you grow and you will strive within because you love it. It’s even as simple as updating your CV, put your skills down on paper because you are needed and wanted. Get on your feet for the first time in however many years! You CAN do it I promise!

Whenever I write as if I’m talking to everyone who has ever doubted themselves, I also motivate myself to want to be the best version of me! It just flows out of me like Niagara Falls and I end up coming out with things I didn’t even know I thought about.

Moral: Sometimes you need to take leap of faith and leave everything behind. It isn’t too late for you!
